Horse and Hound, you are a disgrace

This is the third Thursday running that I have not received my H&H. NONE of them have arrived. You CANNOT use the weather as an excuse now, the postman is delivering sack loads of mail every day, and other magazines have arrived on time.

I am cancelling my subscription, but I would still be interested to hear the lame excuse as to why nothing has arrived. By the way, my local Tesco had each issue delivered to it on time each week, but I have refused to buy it on the grounds that I have already paid TO HAVE IT DELIVERED. Or NOT delivered, as it would seem.

Very disgruntled.

No, it wouldn't. I tried phoning their "customer service" line several times today, with no success.Why would an email be any different? Occasionally, someone from H&H reads these forums, so I probably have more chance here than anywhere else.

To be honest I don't think it is their fault. I've worked as a journalist on magazines and asa PR officer for the Post Office and I know just how frustrated editors get when their mags are not delivered on time. I suspect there is a big back log of mail to get through. Magazines tend to take second place to letters. I'm sure HandH delivery will get back tonormal in a couple of weeks when the system settles.

and that unfortunately, is why I gave up my subscription. It was continually late (or didn't come at all) so now I take my chances at the local shop..oh and btw.. that was when I lived IN London!!!

cos H&H is consistent with poor delivery across the UK and has been for years!! Nothing else seems to have the same problems getting out.

Erm... because Royal Mail ARE delivering my mail and OTHER magazines. Even during the worst of the weather, the mail made every effort, and I KNOW there is nothing at the sorting office because I was collecting mail when they couldn't deliver it (I run a business and so the mail is important to me).

I am blaming Horse and Hound because that's who I have PAID to DELIVER the magazine to me.

My 16th dec issue came today!!! I gave up and got it monday from shop. Yes the mail has been disrupted, I live in a largish town in wales-cheshire border, and first mail in 10 days came today, dozens of cards and junk but we all like to blame someone, its just circumstances i am affraid, bad snow, people cant get in to work, transport links ect...ect..
Mine has never been late till this month to be fair to H&H, they dont like it any more than we do I am sure.
