I've had my horse for about 6 years now, he's a coloured cob and i compete him in dressage and occasionally jumping and he's brilliant.
But recently I moved to a new yard with my friend and her two horses and they originally went in a field just the three of them but my horse got too attached and so we moved them into a bigger field with other geldings and he was fine again. But he's started to become crazily attached to one of my friend's horses again and its driving me mad!!
Whenever I bring him in without the other two he's absolutely fine until he gets into the stable and then he just starts spinning around, calling, banging the door and tries to barge out!!! It's getting to the stage where we have to co-ordinate everything with my friend but I have lessons late in the evening (which can't be changed) and i preferably want him to stay in at night at least that one night a week, but ideally i'd want him in every night in the winter as that what we usually do!
It's becoming unbearable and my mum isn't the most confident around horses and I don't know what to do, I'm 16 years old and have just started my A levels so my mum has taken him on a lot more but she's not enjoying it when he's like this..
WHAT DO I DO?!!?
any advice would be really appreciated!!
