I really don't know what to say, a horse kept a few miles from mine has been attacked with acid. Story here (with photo if anyone doesn't want to look) http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/local...tack-on-18-year-old-sheffield-horse-1-4647473. I don't know the owner, had only heard on the grapevine, and I can only imagine how she is feeling given that I am sat here crying right now. I hope the evil people that did this are caught.

What is it with sick folks attacking horses, are they seen as vunerable ? last month a friend of my sisters mare who was in foal was attacked and found by the owner with her head severed . Sadly the vets could'nt save the mare or foal , there are no words ..........

I won't opent the article or photo, i know i'll get upset.

I feel so sorry for horse and owner...is the horse okay? (as in stil alive and hopefully no life changing harm?)

I would love to line these people against a wall and shoot them, limb at a time.

The horse is alive, the wounds are on his neck and should heal okay. That doesn't take away the pain and suffering caused and the fact someone would even want to do such a dreadful thing.
