Horse bald patches?

Hi all, my horse over last few weeks has had these bald patches show up and gradually got worse, I have given allergy tablets which hasn’t made much difference just wandering if anyone has any insight on what it could be?

Can't see any photos, might be lice or mites?

Potentially ringworm; my horse had weird lumpy bits and some hair loss, vet quite clear ‘it’s not ringworm’. Several visits later a skin scrape was done and it turned out to be ringworm after all. Some strains of ringworm don’t produce the classic round bald bits.
