So a long story short is a I had wanted a liner to go under my horse's winter blanket as it has gotten very cold lately but what I had assumed was a liner (as I had explained I wanted a liner to go under my horse's blanket) but turns out the sales girl sold me a stable blanket. But is it ok to use two blankets on top of each other? At least for the rest of this winter? Has anyone used two blankets before for extra warmth? I know that horseware ireland does make a proper liner to go with the amigos that I'd like to buy next winter or I suppose soon if using two blankets could cause problems. Thanks (:

The winter blanket I have is the amigo bravo 12 plus blanket and the other blanket (that was supposed to be a liner) is a rugged wear stable blanket.

You could just have bought a Horseware liner instead of the stable rug. Its what I use under my Weatherbeeta turnout without a problem of it slipping. If you havent used it yet then take it back and change it.

Just bought on line a yummy Newmarket stable rug to go under Mhairi`s Amigo heavyweight, she`s feeling the cold...and it gives me the excuse to buy a Newmarket!
