Hi all. I am seeking some horse boot advice! I need to buy some boots for my 5 year old warmblood that are suitable for show jumping predominantly but also for a bit of cross country. I want them to offer sufficient support but not be restrictive. There are so many on the market with so many different claims at greatness so was wondering whether anyone could suggest any or tell me what they use and the pros and cons so to speak. Be extremely grateful! Many thanks! L x

For showjumping ive always had open fronted boots so that if they do hit a fence it just gives a reminder not to!
But for xc id want closed fronted ones for extra protection.
Eskadron do a good range but depends on the horse and level as to what boots id pick.

i live my Professional choice SMB elite boots they are expensive but so fab. they support and protect the whole lower leg and they are machine washable. the only thing is when its very hot in summer they make her legs hot so i have a cheap pair i use for hacking on hot days

Thanks! I just worry that the sports medicine boots are quite restrictive... or am i just being paranoid? going to post this on the othe site as well to see if I can get any more suggestions.....it is quite a tough decision because they are expensive and I want to make the right choice x
