Does anyone have or know of anyone in the east of england area who has a horse box up to 7.5 tonn who isn't using it this year who would be willing to loan it out for monthly payments for the loan or who is selling one but cannot get a sale but who is willing to take instalments?
I am so desperate for a horse box for this year or to own one.Atm I rent one for £100 a time and if am going to 2 or 3 shows a month it works out bloody expensive as we have to drive about 30mins to collect it then oay for it drive it home then load it then when we get home from show unload it clean it drive it back collect out car and drive home so much hassel.

Please help!

I am not sure a private seller would be willing to go for this option really but have you explored the route iof buying from a reputable dealer as many will offer finance on new and used horseboxes as far as I know.

Guess it depends on your monthly budget though as, alternatively could you maybe look at getting a loan to buy a wagon outright? You could probably get one for a reasonable price and pay around the £100-£150 mark a month if you get a loan for it. You will have to cost in things like Tax, MOT, servicing though remember and of course money for repairs should anything go wrong!

Yea I know. I have seen a few from a dealer for about £10-£13 in really good condition.
I was thinking more of ppl who cannot afford to compete this year or there horse is out of work who want to make moeny out of their box this summer rather than it just sitting there doing nothing. If it was a loan box or a box on finance I would be willing pay £200 p/m no problem.
And getting a loan in the financial climate in a No go.Even if you credit history is perfect youd be lucky!

Hi
As a professional in this industry,A BIG sticking point im afraid is insurance whilst it is the property of someone else, it may be classed as hire and reward, you would have to be incredibly honest with the insurers as to what you are doing as you may find yourself with null and void insurance if you are actually paying to hire the box, please be very carefull.

Have you actually tried getting a loan? We just took one out to buy a lorry - no problem whatsoever!
