Horse box gas

Help please ? This is the compartment for gas on my new lorry however the small gas bottles don’t fit . Has anyone any idea what this is set up for as they make a lot of horse boxes so I can’t imagine they have got it wrong ?

baleofhay! I would ask them what size it is built for and also ask them for the 'Gas Safe' certificate for the gas installation as you need that to ensure that it has been correctly and safely installed.

When you say small, is the 4.5 and 7kg both too big?

Yes I have a 3.9kg flogas and it’s about 2cm too wide

Is it maybe that the bottle you've tried is too small? I know I'm probably going to explain it really badly but are you thinking that the whole bottle should sit in the gap but actually it's just the stand bit at the bottom of a big bottle?

From past experience it was a relatively big gas bottle that we used not the tiny ones, although definitely not the big big ones!!
