It's renewal time again....who do you recommend? At the moment my lorry is with NFU Mutual and breakdown is with ESS. Any suggestions for who to get another quote from? I've just tried SEIB and their breakdown was cheaper (don't know if the cover is any good - I know ESS are good but this lorry (1998 and low mileage each year) shouldn't be likely to break down....oops that will tempt fate). However, SEIB were £63 more expensive than NFU for the insurance.....

Anthony Evans insurance broker (found them on the H&H website). I know several people on here use them. They do breakdown cover too.

And another. Can someone answer me a question though as I am a bit blonde. What is the situation with AE if your lorry needs towing, what happens about the horses?

Check the small print with AE as there are two types of breakdown-pick up and tow the lot and the other which you have to pay extra for!

SEIB and Shearwater use Equity Red Star for breakdown who send a lorry to recover your truck and a horse transporter to pick you and your horses up.

NFU use ESS who do the same as Equity Red Star.
