Oh gosh I am in so much pain I wanna cry!!!!!!! My mare stepped on my little toe on concrete when I was wearing thin rubber boots!

Instead of LIFTING it off she scraped it off

I was way down the road walking her in hand and had to walk all the way back. I was so afraid to take my boot off and look as it felt like the toe may be dangling

When I got the boot of it was purple and massive but still attached thankfully.

I am sitting here with my foot up with frozen veggies on it. YAY! It was only two months ago I broke the other foot and could not walk for two weeks. I am suh an accident prone loser

Mare was happy though. She never did get rode

Oh how I feel for you as my TB trod on my little toe when I did not move it from the muddy field in time about 2 months ago and it still hurts and is pink ..... I should have put frozen peas on it, but I don't look after myself, only my boys. He broke my other little toe 8 years ago but thankfully that one is ok now

I hope yours stops throbbing soon

Had the exact same thing happen to me a few years ago.
Concrete + little toe + a shod, excited welsh cob = lots of pain!!

Oh dear! shod would have been bad! Luckilly my mare is barefoot but it doesn't seem to make it less painful atm

Ouch! Much sympathy to you!
I have two grazed knees at the mo (like a 7 yo kid!) thanks to my horse treading on my heel as I was leading him! It made me fall forward onto the concrete as he kept walking. I didn't let go of him but nor did he stop walking for a couple of strides. It would have looked good if it had been caught on video!

i was givin a friend a leggy onto her horses once and it stood on my foot on concrete i have never screamed so loud i broke my 3 middle toes and one now sits in an impressive lightnin bolt shape

Sympathy to you.

When I first learned to ride, I was getting a bit over confident and stick happy with a big fluffy cob called Teddy (cos he looked like a teddy bear).

As I dismounted and was about to put the reins over his head, he picked up one of his massive front feet and placed it on top of one of my feet, just hard enough to prevent me from pulling my foot free. He fixed me with a withering stare for a moment, and them picked his foot back up.

I realised just how bright horses are, and just how stupid humans can be that day.
