My pony will put in a couple of bucks on a hack if we canter and another horse is in front or by his side. If we start off in front and a horse catches us up he'll buck as well. Now do I only ever canter him out in front or do I get someone to canter out in front and hold him back and ride out the bucks and hope I don't fall off so he doesn't get his own way, he gets the complete opposite e.g left behind rather than take the lead?
