Horse buying woes

So fed up. Looking for new horse as mine is injured, and having no luck at all trying to find one and quite frankly, some of the horses should not be advertised as they are. Amazing what you find out when you call! One I called about yesterday is 1/10lame in front and has medical issue but will be fine for hunting ?!?! Others buck (not told about until I tried him and he did it every time I jumped), another lady told me her horse did buck (described as an excellent hunter), another the passport was not a registered Connemara as advertised.

I know it is mid season, but cannot believe I am struggling to find anything to even look at for an OK but not 5 figures budget, would consider blemishes quirks vices etc! On the plus side my recovering horse must be worth a fortune lol!

I would never buy a horse in the UK - but then I'm Danish and proper-viking-sceptic of anything that's not. ;-)

When our boy went for loan/sale he was £4000 as we are Northumberland and he has a couple of sarcoids...

I recommend word of mouth/personal recommendation.

We are looking for a horse all it has to do is be a nice safe ride, 3/4 or more TB and over 16.2 We have looked at 3 so far first was 3/10 lame the other 2 would score 2.5 on the BC scale feel like reporting them. All sent photos of thier horse taken sometime in the past. So fed up!
