I'm hoping to get new horse out to camp this year and am looking at what they have up at Somerford Park. They do both the Active Rider camps and Bobbi's Horse Camps.

Has anyone participated in a camp organised by either or both of these? What were your views? How was the quality of training.

The Bobbi's camp is for 3 nights/3 days of training, Active Rider for 2 nights/2 days which would explain why Bobbi's is more expensive.

Thanks :)

We've been to a number of active rider camps (booked in for April & Sept this year too) and have always really enjoyed them. I've always found quality of training to be really good. Facilities are fab and made some friends to :)

Thanks for the input.

How did you find the flat training at the Active Rider camps? I did watch some flat sessions (went up to see friends at a camp once) and although the SJ/XC training was excellent, I wasn't that impressed with the flatwork training.
