horse clearance sale in newmarket

Can you remind me/others where abouts it is, I saw it this morning on News feature and now its gone!!!

Yes I might go for some bargains..

i should resist but having just brought a new horse he needs some gear.
and i was being really good, using my other horses stuff on him as i really do have enough!
then i saw that advert.................
 
I went to one of these in the summer. Do not go expecting much. Most of the rugs on sale were in v small or v large sizes. The jackets etc were the colours no one wants to buy. I came away with nothing!!

I went last year to the one in Newmarket and didn't buy anything, the rugs were expensive for unbranded makes and selection was poor. A friend bought a checked stable rug for £40 identical to one I got from Robinsons for £12!

Saying that if I have a spare hour or so on Sat I will prob be tempted to go and have a look "just incase" there are any bargains.
 
vast majority is total crap but there is some good stuff if you prepared to hunt for it! stubbens are £50 normally I have got both mine from these sales. All the eurostar breeches this year are kid sizes BUT the ones marked aged 16 i think it is or def 176cm are equivelent to a size ten the 170cm are a size 8.

There are some dark blue with white lines (creating squares) middleweight stable rugs which are very good but not sure how much they are now. When i got mine about 4 years ago now they were labelled 'ireland' on the straps but I think they say 'hippo' now instead. Other than the front elasticated straps being a bit iffy (but not in danger of breaking just a bit overstretched due to being on an elephant!) and a slightly thin patch on one shoulder from where he lies down every night it comes out good as new each year after going to be cleaned. Admittedly I only paid £25 for mine at time and was total bargin and one of the best rugs i ever bought as he a rug wrecker but I think they now £40 but I still rate them as a very good rug.
 
They never have the ariats at 9.99!!! Maybe one pair of size 4 childrens size!!!

Also they do not issue receipts so how the heck do you return stuff!
