The Masterclip v-Series clippers are excellent for nervous horses as you can turn the motor speed right down, which makes them very quiet for use around the head and neck.
they aren’t full size but I used the andis 2 speed dog clippers last year, very quiet and got through the wooly mammoth cob coat but struggled with his feathers and mane, you can get wider blades for horses for them
