My horse has come in from the field again with another cut and swollen knee - it's all his own fault if he will insist on playing the whole time n winding up the other horses! While I've been hosing his legs twice a day for what feels like forever it did make me wonder about the horse cold/cool boots on the market and that I should invest in one for the future to make life a bit easier, as inevitably these things happen. Does anyone have experience of any of these boots and could make any recommendations? I think it would be a useful thing to keep in my first aid box regardless.
Many thanks!

My horse came in this morning with the exact same injury! I cold hosed and put colling leg gel around the cut on her knee but am worrying i could have done something else?! All i can say for cold boots is I have some blue wraps (cant remember the name) that can be stored in the freezer and wrapped round legs etc but they are hard to keep on knees and hocks etc so i'll be interested to see the replies...
