Horse Colour

Hi i was just woundering what you all thought my little chaps colour was, as he is now 4 and doing some local shows and my local show includes dunn in the col,palomino and spotted just woundered if i had an extra class really! and my vets abit confused as we are registering him with hack and cob and it askes for colour, im afraid were a little stuck! A LITTLE HELP PLEASE!

He's gorgeous whatever colour you call him I'm not usually into cobs that are hogged an all either... but the look does kind of make him remind me of a polo pony the same colour near where I kept my last horse (who wasn't built like your average polo pony though!), lovely!

Aww thankss he's a little power house! he's alot of fun not that nimble to do polo, Falls on his back end just cantering in the field!

Grullo's the first thing that came into my mind too Has he got a dorsal stripe or tiger stripes on legs?

Yep and in the summer he has a black mask on his face frosted ears and a frosted mane << When he isnt hogged! aha

Definitley sounds grullo to me. Dont know if passport agency would recognise it though so may have to stick with simple dun. lol Have a look at this site, bottom paragraph lists the primitive markings needed to make it grullo.
