My new horse is slightly higher at the croup than the withers( she was four in may) Will she come up in front or is there no way of telling. She has only just been broken.

as she is only four i would say she will catch up with herself and level out-what breed is she? i reckon horses probably fully mature at 5/6 depending on the breed

Im not sure about having foal affecting growth but i quite often see 4 year olds who need to fill out and catch up in certain places, and usually it will be thr front that needs to catch up with the back end! I think ID types mature later than some breeds too

My Irish horse is still growing and is 5. Have been told by many he wont stop until 7, but at 4 he was regularly bum high!
