Horse costs p/m

Without livery, this is my breakdown of basic costs per month:

Hay £20
Straw £12
Insurance £28
Trim £22 (£45 every 8 weeks)
Feed - £5 (a bag of Happy Hoof lasts about 3 months at this time of year, high fibre nuts about the same)
Supplements - £10 (£30 every 3 months)

Approximately one lesson a month at £50, but that is very much an extra.

He gets treats, new equipment where necessary etc, etc to.
 
Well here goes...
(£40 Field Rent)
Hay £50
Feed £10 (Happy Hoof and Fibre Nuggats last 2 months)
Supplements £10 (£30 every 3 months)
Trim £10 (ever 6 weeks) (1st year to go barefoot.?! may go back to shod.. will see)
Routine Vacs £7 (£80 ish annually)
Wormer £ 3
Insurance £55 (ouch.!)

Approx £140 p/m without rent...

This will go down in the Summer as others have said... :)
