Can anyone recommend a good horse dentist in the West Sussex area?
Another vote for Phil Armitage. Watching him do my OH's numpty KWPN with no sedation and the leadrope tucked into his belt was amazing!
Simon Carried out some remedial denistry for me . He explained in detail the problem, showed me ,explained what he intended to do, and carried out the work quietly and safely with my comlete fruitloop of an Irish draught. I would also add that I was pleasantly surprised at the bill, having seen the amount of work he had to put in.I would recommend him .I would also add that my horses teeth were regularly done by another of the names recommended above, and whilst there were no sharp edges, the underlying problem of a twisted jaw(molars down one side considerably longer than the other) and undershot mouth ,were never mentioned or attended to .Since Simon carried outh this work,I am finaly making come headway with my horses nose poking and tongue over the bit . There is a lot of reschooling to do ,but at least I know my horse is now comfortable .I have had Simon Vieweg recently & trust him but I have heard not so good things since. I know there's a lot of bad mouthing in the horse world. Can anyone enlighten me about there experiences or knowledge of Simon (factual only not gossip please). Good bad what ever.
