Hi All,

Having just moved into the area (just outside Belton), I'm looking for a new equine dentist....ours back in Surrey is a bit far for him to travel!

Grateful for recommendations or one's to steer clear of! :D

youre not far from me, martin brookes covers lincs and i would highly recomend .he also has monthly clinics at white barn vets .havent got his number to hand but he has a website.

I'm a few miles away from you, I use Derrek smith from Newark I can pm you the number if you like? I've used him for years xx

Thanks guys! Have been given names of David Veasey and Jim Bird - any experiences / views? PM if you would prefer.

All help gratefully received :) x

I had David Veasey out earlier this year. My friends mare was being a complete monster and he was just so calm and gentle with her. Really impressed by his manner.
First time I have used him and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Martin Brookes isn't taking on any new customers, but they can book in to the monthly clinic he holds at White Barn Veterinary which isn't far from you at all.

I know David Veasey very well & he has a terrific manner with horses, even if they're being a bit tricky. He is also excellent at clipping difficult horses. He never panics or loses his temper. Also cheaper than Martin Brookes at around £35 per horse. Martin is £50ish, & sedation is extra from the on site vets.

Chandlers probably have David's business cards or you could PM me.
