hi, i am phoning my vets to book my horse in, i think he might need a tooth removed, never had to get one done before, as he is a new horse. also i have a 3 yr old that i will have to get her wolfteeth removed. what is the usual price for this. i am in northern ireland. just to have an idea, as my normal check ups are £50, just wondering removals?
thanks

I was recently told between £ 800 to £ 1500 to have a tooth removed from a six year old including diagnosics was told it could be more if they needed to give a GA.

my gelding has his wolf teeth removed very easily by my EDT with a general rasp and it cost me £25 ! most mares dont have wolf teeth ,you may be seeing her tushes.

I think it depends whether it's a wolf tooth or a cheek tooth - they're very different.

I was quoted the same as goldenstar for a cheek tooth removal, but that's not surprising, as I think we use the same vets!

I use an Equine vet and took my mare to them to have it done and it cost a little over £100 a few years ago. My vet is also a qualified EDT.

I am in NI and I got my vet (horse specialist) to remove my mare's wolf teeth. I took her up to my vet and he sedated her at his premises and removed them. The total cost was under £100. Where are you based?
