My boy is like everyone else's horses, bored to tears with the weather. His way of demonstrating his dislike for this is to dig his bed up at every given opportunity. As you can imagine the bed is now a tip and mucking out has increased by 20 minutes morning and evening.
He can't go out atm, no route to field that is safe even with salt and to be the fair the last time I turned him out in the snow he stood in a dejected heap until I brought him in again! He goes on the walker twice a day. He reckons toys are beneath him and if I put any in his box he stands in the corner and snorts for 10 mins then ignores them. He doesn't eat a massive amount of hay and there is always plenty left when I arrive. He has company and a radio ( local station, perhaps he would prefer radio 4?) and he can look out into the corridor or out the back.
Anyone got any suggestions that might distract him from total bed destruction whenever my back is turned?
