i was doing some reading on it as i am often interested in the past and how we have to come to were we are today (in the world of horses)

so i came across horse diving
now i don't know to much about it but i know enough to think that this is a horrible thing, and i still cant understand why people through it is accept-able
what is more disheartening is i found a video on youtube (below) that appears to show it happening in more recant times!!

the poor horse seems to take it all in his stride, but i believe this is because he has got so use to the horrible act, numb from fear and pain :(

its heart braking aint it! poor horse has know other choice
i also read on the net that in older times is horses wouldn't go they would be shocked (with electric) or the floor would drop out from under them! its cruel!!

It's very cruel. Poor thing! Had no other option! I really don't get it and don't understand why people would go and see such an act.

Didnt look unduley worried to me,seemed pretty calm on exit from the pool.Found some food intheexit tunnel and seemed quite content.

I believe if a horse didnt want to do it it wouldnt!

i read about the girl she went blinde sadly because of the diving, and that horse in the video may not seem to upset by the side, but its nothing compaired to some of the things i have read and seen i refuse to put them on here as it would be very distressing to many users, plus you have to thing that poor horse has been pushed in to the water for so long he probably knows no better now! horses cant hold there noses like people so when they go from that hight in to water thing of all the water going up there nose and possible in to there lungs :( i dont know why any one could find it entertaining at all, i find it heart braking that they have broken that poor horses spirit in order for a silly "stunt"
ps not having a go at you just angry at why people push horses to do it sorry is i came across horrible really dont mean to

Have seen it before and it is awful, makes me feel sick. He may look happy, but he doesn't really have an option to do anything else other than jump once he's up there. Poor horse!
