Might be worth talking to these people to see how they do it- they say they deliver cupcakes across the uk http://www.bradfordsbakers.com/cupcakes-delivered.html. They're Glasgow based so not direct competition!

Courier, really - excellent news! I was planning a trip over to the wrong side to pick a cake up, but a courier sounds great - I'll look back for updates, and if not I'll have a jolly trip over t'moors.
