Horse Fancy Dress ideas

Help! I have a grown ups gymkhana and need some fancy dress ideas. So far the best I can come up with is a cow (my horse is a skewbald) and a cowboy. Any ideas?

Would he tolerate a 'rug'? The best thing I saw recently was the horse dressed as a wall (terracotta bed sheet with bricks painted on it) and the rider dressed as Humpty Dumpty. I was waiting for the big fall!

I've had my pony dressed up (with a kid riding) as a pirate and dressed as a robber with the kid dressed as a policeman. My pony is pretty much bomb proof as dressed as a pirate he had a giant flag carried over him and a hat and head scarf round his bridle. Dressed as a robber, I bought a giant roll of black and white striped material, draped over and cut so it was pinned round his back legs so it looked like a prison jumpsuit He had his own prisoner number across his chest chained to each side of the saddle, pillow cases or 'SWAG' bags hanging one side and a ball and chain the other....as i said, nothing fazes him
