My uncle's sorrel QH (14.2h, 10 years old) fell over 6 months ago in October when I was riding him around a wet arena. I didn't realize that it was too wet to ride in and he slipped and fell on his side and he had to go the the chiropractor twice. He told us he was in pain by bucking, kicking, and crow hopping. It finally settled down about a month ago and just last night he decided to buck again and the one time he bucked, he fell over onto my leg. This is the second time in SIX Months. can anyone tell me what happened? It really warm and sunny and there was nothing he could have tripped on at all.

If he bucked maybe there is something still troubling him? I had a horse that would trip and fall onto its knees, and after going to many different experts - vet (who wanted to x ray his knee), physio, chiropractor in the end it was a new chiropractor who had not long finished studying and said his back legs were not coming "through" enough and he caught his toe. After several treatments he was cured of this and he has never tripped since even though he is quite long backed.

I would go back to the chiropractor. A tripping horse is quite dangerous for the rider, so you need to know what is going on.
