Horse first aid /health book suggestions

I am a novice horse owner and would like some suggestions for good horse 1st aid / health / medical books.

IMO Veterinary notes for horse owners by Captain M Horace Hayes is one of the best. You've also got the BHS veterinary manual and the First Aid book in the Threshold Picture Guide series is also good for basics. Hope that helps

Quite expensive but worth every penny - loads of information and everything clearly explained.

Thanks for the suggestions - Veterinary notes for the horse owner has been mentioned to me elsewhere so it soulds like I'll be going for that one.
