Please, does anyone know of a sure fire way to keep them away? Took my girl for a little jaunt up the farm road today, half a bottle of Avon skin so soft (me) horse completely doused in coopers, plus Avon in her mane and tail. I got bitten twice! Now I am a bit groggy with the anti histamines, and stinking of TCP to try to avoid infection. One of the bites is through my jeans, so no point in covering up really. I love the summer, but I hate horse flies!
