Horse foot sore in the Hind

So my horse has gone randomly foot sore she is currently barefoot I was wondering should I get back shoes put on her.
 
How long has she been barefoot? Depends on whether this is an isolated incident and is she is, long term, ok without shoes. Also on what the ground is like. One of mine who only has fronts was a bit tentative on his hinds over the gravel (literally 2 foot of it) recently, I think because the ground has been so wet and feet are softer. Seems to have improved this week.

If it’s just one foot she might have stepped on a stone and been bruised rather than generally sore. But I’m not a real barefoot expert.

She has been barefoot in the back for her entire life . The ground is has been hard and soft this has been going on for 2 weeks.
 
It could be anything but worth mentioning that laminitis can occur in hinds only, as it did with mine. My vet says it seems more common in Welsh ponies, but can happen with any breed.
