Before anyone jumps on me about getting the vet out, have already spoken to him and this is what he's advised me to do first. During the summer on the worst nights the horses came in, D is on haylege but because it was going off as he wasnt eating a full bale in time i put him on hay (he wont eat soaked hay and he's now back on haylege). Unfortunately this has given him a little cough that only shows its self when we ride, he'll cough a few times in the first 5/10 mins but then is fine, so the vet has suggested to try one of the liquid supplements first to try shift it (cheaper option) then if not he will come out and try something else. So recommendations please, what will help him cough up the crap on his lungs the best and will work in a relatively short space of time (over a week or so), otherwise he is fit and healthy and has no other problems. The cough doesnt seem to bother him too much, but obviously want to help clear it. Thankies

Used the NAF 5* Respirator liquid with success, if it doesn't work it says on the bottle that you get your money back!, failing that- like your vet says prob needs looking into further/treatment. The natural stuff may be worth a go though.
