horse has pulled tendon, out of week 6 weeks will it be ok to take her shoes off?

My horse has pulled a tendon on her knee, vet has scanned it, she is due to be shod should I take her shoes off and trim her feet? or have new shoes put back on?

The farrier said it will put pressure on her tendons if i don't keep her feet trimmed, won't she get footsore?

not sure what to do :-(

Your vet and farrier are the best people to ask, they know your horse and the injury more than anyone on here. Be guided by them.
