Have you seen her horsebox, its one of the nicest ones ive seen. Very lucky lady Does the stud she lives at have a website? i cant find one its Headley stud.
Gemma is an old friend from home had to laugh at her comment after she made vid about how many times she said 'ummm' whilst making it. Lorry is gorgeous to say least as are her horses. She doesn't have a website as far as I know...
she has got several stallions and I 'think' they are put to a limited number of mares each year most likely via AI and I know she has youngstock as well though it is not a full scale stud by any description. More a side and support to her dressage riding.
I saw that vid of her and the lorry - v green - me I mean, not the lorry.
Have to say though she came across as very normal and grounded and not at all princessy.
They did used to have showjumpers there k9h, can't think of the owner's name by a guy called Perry used to ride them, he's now in France. John and Tania were the owners (my bash on the head on Sunday is making surnames elusive).
I went there for talent spotters semis back when I was 17 i think it was. Rode Tania's horse Enniskean who was simply to die for and one of the showjumpers which I think had a heart attack when I asked it to do proper dressagey trot
Yes Gemma is lovely she always has been. Yes she has had opportunities most won't have in life but she works her a**e off as well so deserves all her success.
wow, what a gorgeous lorry. absolutely stunning. what credit crunch?!!
i'm not sure i agree when she says most horsey people don't let their grooms share the living, but make them sleep in the horse area... not the eventers i know, anyway!
I did think of you when I saw the colour scheme!! LOL!

Thats him Perry but again surname escapes me at the moment & I do not have a bump to the head to blame it on!!
That is a fantastic lorry, I'm very jealous. I'm also impressed that she knows what's in each locker and how everything works - I bet not all riders can say that about their wagons!
The video was good except when Gemma Green said that some riders don't let their grooms in the living, and the grooms shower is in the horse area- probably not nearly as warm as the living. I haven't heard of riders not letting their grooms in the living area and I met someone who worked for her and they lived in bunk bed accomodation! I don't think she comes across as overly grounded at all!
Gemma is the most down to earth person you will ever meet, i was her groom for two years and i couldnt of asked for a better role model while working for her. Alot of respect for her, and what an inspiration for BD.
Does anyone know the link to the video of the Headley House and stud tour from Gemma? Or the horsebox tour as I can’t seem to find it anywhere! Thanks
