Sorry its early just can't sleep or stop crying need a virtual slap please!!

Poor Flir had a whollop yesterday afternoon off some horrid old git for no reason as witnessed by YO.She has three nasty cuts & two definite chipped bones, vet is worried there could be more underlying injuries so off to horse hospital tomorrow

I just pray shes ok and fixable.

Just to show how strong she is vet said he couldn't believe how much weight she was putting on it when he got there. Shes only a little tb with typical tb legs.She is a strong little character so I hope she comes through this.

she sounds a lot like my boy! hes also a little tb with little tb legs. he fractured and chipped his radius last year,was very dodgy and the vet had said there was a chance it may not fully heal. Fox was the same as your mare and only came up a 2 in the lameness scale despite how bad his injury was! Hes now in full work and youd never be able to tell he'd been injured.

wow thanks everyone!!! your messages really helped & mean alot!!

What a long tough tiring day! We got upto breadstone (fantastic place) a little later than planned as she had a diva strop with her bad leg so took us 4 hours to box her (shes never done that before) so she knew something was up bless her . As soon as she was there she was x-rayed asap and ALL CLEAR!! she was lucky mind they pointed out everything on the pictures to me and how close it was to certain areas which could have meant surgery. Five minutes later they said they were happy for her to go home!!

So so relieved I was beaming.Funnily enough she pranced back onto the box and looked at us asif to say "what are you to waiting for? get me home"!!

So she was well happy last night in her own stable.

I got home ate something and crashed out! xx

Thanks everyone! yes very relieved and yes i am pooped! just got back from the stables shes not too happy about being in but she will have to lump it for a little while.She has stable mates going in in shifts to keep her company - bless plus i spent 4 hours with her lol
