Horse & Hound First Edition - What is it Worth?

A friend of mine has asked me to sell her copy of Horse & Hound, volume 1 number 1 dated 29th March 1884. It's in good (not mint) condition. She wants me to sell it on ebay but I don't know if that would be the best place to sell it? And how would I find out how much it's worth? Has anyone any ideas?

I would advertise it in Horse and Hound or send it to a specialist auction - sorry not got a clue what its worth .
