Horse & Hound Mag

Mine hasn't arrived on Thursday for the last 4 or 5 weeks - I'll be stunned if it's on the doormat when I get home tonight! It's often a day late after a bank holiday and was late every week last winter too.
I did ring subs to complain this time last year and was told they despatch on time religiously, and after that it's in the hands of the postal service.
As I live out in the sticks in the Highlands I suppose I'm more likely to get a late delivery! I kept the sub going as it works out a lot cheaper than paying cover price in the shops, but it is frustrating when you've read half the mag already on the website by the time the real thing arrives!
 
Mine's always late, they never managed to correct my address AND i emailed them to cancel my subscription as a result of this- IN SEPTEMBER :mad: yet they have just taken the DD from my account :mad::mad:
 
oo doesn't sound very good! I have been subscribed for a while and had it every Thursday without fail! I wondered if it was something to do with the weather.
 
I would never subcribe to it, all the people I house sit for that have a Horse and Hound thro the post never ever get it on a Thurday, bearing in mind my house sitting covers a multitude of areas, and it seems the same across the board, some come Friday and some Saturday.
Slightly changing the subject our neighbour was going to Morrisons this morning for supplies and asked us if we wanted anything, I asked him to get HandH mag, but apparanly not been delivered to supermarket, has anyone else who is snowed in not got it??
 
If you think about it logically it certainly could be to do with the weather. Lorries and trains are both getting stuck atm so it could well be delayed a little. If its a one off I wouldn't blame them, I'd probably assume its the weather.
 
I didn't get mine, but I'd guess that was because of the snow that seems to have crippled most of the country - the papers didn't arrive at newsagents on time this am and have you been in a supermarket this week? Empty shelves everywhere...
