i have been looking for an safe cob to mainly hack with a bit of jumping for months, they have either been sold before i could view them or totally not as described! so if anyone knows of or wants to horse hunt if your bored i would appriciate it as im getting a bit fed up

would like : 15hh-16hh cob, either coloured or solid colour
gelding, 4-12 years old good to hack and in traffic, doesnt need to be a superstar just a nice family friend!

up to 2500, doesnt have to include tack as i have a thorowgood saddle so can adjust to fit, and have bridle rugs etc off old horse if needed

1 of those is a mare, if only i liked them! but i have a soft spot for geldings

ooh like the piebald though, is an irish draught though but they are similar build etc to a cob, im in the north east so going to have to beg to go futher afield if im going to find a horse i think!

You would be surprised how many decent horses are just far away. The person who was bought my horse had been looking for the perfect horse for nearly two years, then one day she saw my as and ended up buying him. She lived in wales, I live and horse was in Mnachester !

yeah i seem to of fallen in love with lots of horses as far as devon but my parents just wont drive that far, there max is 4 hours away

I was looking for ages - I was prepared to travel maybe 2 hours - pretty much anywhere in the south east (and did!) to view.

In the end I found Hugo just up the road - near enough for him to hack over to me when I'd bought him! :D He was advertised in all the national publications and on line and I didn't even notice where he was when I saw and liked the ad! So keep your fingers crossed - your friend may be right under your nose, with any luck!
