Has anyone tried homemade horsey ice lollies before? Do your ponies like them?
I shall explain if you've never heard of it before. Basically, you fill a bowl or another contrainer with water, throw in bits of carrots, apples, pears, mints etc and freeze it. Then take it out of container and put on the floor for ponio to try get the yummy bits out. I think it seems like a brill idea for hot summer days! Just wondered if anyone has actualy tried it :)

i used to make them when had a chest freezer and lived 2 mins from the yard. Now a tiny freezer and 45min drive (if theres no traffic!) makes it impossible :(

Jen always loved them especially if i drilled a hole and hung them up for her

The horses get hay lollies in winter ;)

No, seriously, I've never tried it, but I do put ice cubes in the rabbits water bowls in the summer to cool their water down for them.
