Horse insurance and BHS membership

If you join the BHS as a gold member and so get the personal liability and accident cover, can you insure your horse without these on the policy? If you can does it make much difference price wise?

yes you can insure without not essential it can make a diffrence to the price, your better of quoting it to be honest x

I have 3 horses, so that is exactly what I do. BHS and then just insure for vet fees etc. works out much cheaper.

Most companies have set benefits on the policies that you can add, liability and personal acident too. so should be able to insure without if already covered with BHS, however wont reduce the premium by very much... but why pay twice??
