Horse insurance and setting up Direct Debit

Anyone know how I cancel my previous insurance company Direct Debit and how I go about setting up my new direct debit?

KBIS my new insurance company have sent me the proposal form and a direct debit form. I've completed my banks details on the DD form, do I now give this form to the bank to set up a direct debit or do I give it to KBIS to set up a direct debit? They don't explain things and I feel a bit of a numpty ringing them up

I've told my previous insurance I'm not renewing with them and have cancelled them from tomorrows date as my new policy starts then and was told you are not allowed to be insured by two people at the same time. Will they cancel my old direct debit??? or do I have to do it?

Nobody ever tells you anything, and its like a guessing game. Sorry to be so dim

You send the DD form back to the new insurance company, they will set it up.


Your old DD should have been cancelled by the old company, however you can also do it from your end too - via online banking, or in your branch if you dont have that
