Just had a quote from horse-insurance.co.uk anyone insured with them/?
I got a 30% discount online and for just under £30 PM i have
Loss of use, vet fees up to £3k per incident with £250 excess, tck insured for £1000 - £175 access, public liability
Horse is insured for £2500

Not too bad i thought?

Never had dealings with them, but personnally I'd rather have vet fees up to £5000 as sometimes things can add up fairly quickly!!!

Blimey that's a low quote, LOU normally costs a lot more than that.

death? personal accident? vets fees - £3k is a bit low - £5k is a bigger safety net (lower xs with PP aswell)

Underwritten by the same company I would not touch with a barge poll due to previous dealings!
They are cheaper for a reason you get what you pay for!

Try animal friends, got my dog insurance with them and they do horse too. I haven't had to claim so I can't tell you how good or bad they are.
Since NFU's prices have rocketed Pet plan's prices seem to be very reasonable. I've got 2 policys with them now.
