Yes, Im with them, and didn't realise until i'd taken it out they were part of E&L... just renewed this year but not had to put them to the test yet... so... ??
I've gone with rural, arranged through world equestrian insurance services, they are very very competitive! No idea if they pay out though as not had to claim! I have checked to see if they are linked in anyway to E&L and they aren't.
There's a reason the quotes are very much cheaper than others - you get what you pay for! Plus they don't have to cover costs of paying out claims - because they do all they can NOT to pay!!! lol
I'm with Horse Insurance, underwritten by E&L. Yes, the word bargepole springs to mind.
I, unfortunately, have had to put in a claim and they are point blank refusing to pay out.
I wish I could have afforded that little bit extra and gone with NFU - they have a reputation for being the best.
Have used them and they paid out ok, they did say that they hadn't recieved some paperwor which we had sent them (could have been the truth) we sent it again recorded delivery and never had a problem.
Also swapped to these last year and didnt realise they were E&L until ringing to inform them of surgery likely to cause a claim.
All got paid, it was slow but all went ok. Cant complain. The excess with Horseinsurence.co.uk was alot less than with E&L too.
