Has anyone else used horse-insurance.co.uk? I have had a quote from them and it seems very cheap (half the price of my current policy)...:confused:

Would just like to hear any opinions people have. It just seems too good to be true...!!

Yeah they have been on watchdog and things. I actually was insurded with E&L at one point but it was a nightmare trying to get money from them. Also becuase they have such a bad reputation many vets refuse to be paid direct by them and you have to pay the vets and get E&L to pay you. I had final demands and debt collector letters from the vets before I got money from E&L. I did get all that was owned though.
 
My 3 are insured through horse- insurance and theyved payed my vet nearly £1000 for my ponys lami with no hassle at .... Yes they have bad reviews, but don't they all! So yes, I would certainly recommend them :-)
 
I had a claim with them back in August. Only 3 weeks after submitting my claim they had paid out, no fights or battles needed. I have had 3 previous claims with them in the past and they have paid out every time.
 
i was a bit dubious about the quote they gave me too, i had a quote from pet plan for exactly the same thing £84.78 per month and horse insurance quoted me £37.44 per month so i was a bit miffed so i havent taken it so he is just got public liability insurance at the moment until i find one slightly more reasonable :)
