Horse Insurance; How do you prove.....

the market value of your horse?, i'm probably being really thick but how would you prove it, do you get a letter from someone?, as surely they could say that is just one persons opinion.

I really don't get it, many thanks for any replies.

It depends what you are trying to say your horse is worth. If you are increasing the value by maybe £1000 then you would need to explain what your horse has done since you insured it to make it worth that much- ie competitions, winnings, affiliated points etc. These are generally things that they would take your word for. However, if you have a mare that is now worth more because of what her relatives have now acheived then you would need proof (printed off internet, copied from magazines etc) of this.
