who do you use for your horse insurance - premiums seem to have gone up nearly 20% - i'm thinking of changing my insurers (who i've been loyal to for many years with no claims!) and wondered who you recommended!

AMTrust Equine - I've heard good reports about them and I found them a lot cheaper than NFU

I use NFU, and my premium went down this year!! I have had 3 claims and they have paid out no problem and are always very helpful and understanding.
 
I'm sure i'll get shot down, but i'm with Petplan - had one claim for my old horse - took a while but they paid out - and were super helpful and understanding when my mare was pts. have my new loan horse, cat and rabbit with them!
 
thanks for replies - i'm thinking of going with NFU - i'm with Petplan at mo and have been for a very long time and can't believe the hike in premiums this year - especially after no claims on my history. There doesn't seem to be much incentive to stay loyal to them; even new customers get a free coat when they take a policy out!
 
Try Amtrust equine, good a paying claims and premiums good they even offer a 10% no claims discount if you don't claim
