Horse Insurance??

They are the on.ine branch of e&l namely equine and livestock or entertainment and leisure. Just beware, they are not known for their claims handling, cheap premiums but when u need to claim its another matter...like a part of thier wording which states 'paddocks fences needs to be a minimum of 6 foot' who in their right minds has fencing that tall? Just another way of repudiating claims. I work in the industry so just beware, not saying they don't pay but they have been o watchdog a few times over the years!

I'd have to second the advice to avoid E&L - as for recomendations, I'd say anyone who isn't E&L. Vets aren't allowed to tell you who they think is best (something that allows companies like E&L to survive), but you might ask which companies they find easiest to deal with..... unless that counts as a recomendation too

Avoid E & L like the plague! Know an awful story about their claims avoidance.
Recommend NFU or Pet Plan.
I have 3rd party insurance through BHS and you can leave this off your horse policy with some companies to reduce premium.

I've heard so many horror stories about E&L, I'd personally avoid them at all costs!
I chose to insure mine with Pet Plan after lots of good recommendations x

Oh avoid E and L ! We got burgled and they were the only insurance company that refused to pay out , even though our tack room had steel reinforced walls , key pad locks and cameras . ( they cut through the roof with an oxyacetylene torch )

Personally have used Stoneways for the last 30 yrs and would recommend without hesitation . They pay up without fail , very very quickly , don't quibble , and are unfailingly polite and have a sense of humour . And the premiums aren't too bad either .
