Horse jumping out of field

My horse is jumping out of his field, he's on his own due to the fact that its a very small yard, he does get separation anxiety but Im really worried he could do some damage to himself.

I have a stable mirror in stable is it worth getting one in the field? He only seems to jump when the mare is in opposite field.

Agree that even if yard is small, horse should be turned out with, or near others if at all possible.

I think when a horse decided he can and will jump out it becomes a bit of a habbit. The only thing you could do is corrective/preventative fencing. Again its difficult because then he could jump bomb around and hype himself up even more and try and jump something that could really damage him.

I would be more inclined to try and change his current arrangements if at all possible.
