Hello, my very fit competition horse started to cough on Monday whilst being exercised. I hacked him up to an indoor school ok, long trot up a hill, got to the school and he did a few coughs when going around... didnt cough on the way back at all...
Went to get him in yesterday, he wouldnt be caught, cantered off and coughed again. Eventually caught in, rode out on a hack ok, then did some schooling and he coughed some more??
I text the girl that runs the yard to listening out and she hadnt heard anything until this afternoon when bringing him in she said he coughed again!
He is already on Naf Respirator boost as I think its great stuff especially when competing, any ideas?! His Hay is socked, always has been. He is on Straw and sometimes does nibble on the straw as he is a pig, but he has always tended to do that!
Any ideas?!

Might just be a bug going round, especially if you've been competing recently. On our yard we've had a few coughing recently. We thought it might have been all the dust form it being so dry in the last few months but we've put the whole yard Airways. I can't remember who makes it but it's in a big green tub. One scoop each daily and it seems to do the trick.
