Yes it belonged to The Glen. There is a public footpath that runs through the field and the gate had been left open by someone and Ziggy a 6 yrs Welsh sec. A was killed and William a 16 mth sec. C was injured.
Another accident happened this morning at Sandy Syke on the A7 when a foal was killed after it got onto the road with mother. Mother was taken to Blackdyke as owner could not be traced.
Thanks to all who give help.
