Horse leaping around in canter

So I am very worried about my horse.

She is leaping around in canter and very stiff in the neck if take up a contact. Fine cantering on hacks and if we are jumping, it’s just really flatwork where I am asking her to work a bit more in an outline. She trots and walks in an outline no problem.

She has pain in her lumbar area which I am heating and massaging/stretching daily and she used to work in an outline in canter.

Vet lack of performance workup is what I would do

If she has pain then I'd be estimating that's the cause. What does your vet advise? Chiro?
Home treatments don't always help if you don't know the exact issue you are treating under the top layers, muscular, nerve, bone etc.
Hope you can get it resolved.

Physio said we should monitor it. But I am very concerned. People at the yard are saying its a schooling problem so thank you for reassuring me that I’m not over thinking. I will ring the vet this morning
